One of the best book stores I've ever visited. It's a large store so there's plenty of room for book and if you still can't find what you're after they'll always order it for you. The staff are always polite and helpful. Upstairs is an art gallery with paintings from mostly local artists, which I think is great. Fabulous place!

Bookends
A truly great store with a book in every corner. A reader's paradise with thousands of books you can get lost in. Always plenty of choice and the staff are there to help if you can't find what you're looking for. Ask and they will order something for you, mooch and they'll leave you alone to do so, queue... they don't know the meaning of the word. Great shop!

Wealth of stuff
Always so many different books, puzzles, games and stationary. Very impressed with their array. Also stock drinks, cards, etc. Very friendly open staff. The art section is very useful and has a wealth of useful items - especially for a uni student.

Bookends
A large bookshop in Christchurch High Street which caters for everyone.
Has loads of books downstairs with a childrens section at the rear. Very brightly coloured and both my boys love to go in there for a look and a play.
Have ordered a couple of books if they are not in stock and have always got them in in a couple of days and a phone call to say it is in.
There are quite a few offers too which include buy one get the other half price and have seen signed books too
Upstairs there is an artists section which although not used seems very comprehensive
