The Boathouse finds itself in the perfect location for a restaurant in Christchurch right on the river Stour near Place Mill, the Bandstand and the Priory. A great place to sit outside and peoplewatch while enjoying the really top quality food for a very reasonable price for a similar amount you would have had a below-par meal at the local chain pub. Well worth seeking out for a lovely evening meal.

    Great location

       

    A nice place to sit, have a snack and watch the world go by. We often come here after a day at the park and walking along Christchurch quay. Its a shame that they always insist you eat here though and not just come for a quick drink as we would visit a lot more often if that was the case. The place can he hired for functions, would make a good party venue.

    Thestaff at the boat house and the spacious set up..

       

    The
    staff at the boat house and the spacious set up inside makes this a great place
    for both daytime dining with the kids and night time with friends. Especially
    when they have music. The view and the swans walking around is so amazing you dont have to worry about the atmosphere.
