The Globe
Not bad, bit dull
The Globe avertises as having the best fish and chips in the area, not tried it myself because always found the place a bit dull. Could do with something to liven it up a bit. The elderly folk seem to like it though but could do with offering something for all age groups.

A good place to take the family for dinner.A nice relaxing interior and atmosphere.staff very friendly and helpful.its walking distance from us so thats always a bonus.
seems to attract the older age group as stated before hand.

It's ok
Nice interior, clean and tidy. Value for money and what you would expect from a pub chain type place. From the outside, you may think.. oh yes, this looks nice, and you may expect a bustling bar area.. which there is, a bar, but only a small area, almost like a waiting area before you're seated to eat. It's never been particulary busy, always free tables so it can feel little dull. Having said that, i'm sure it is highly suitable for perhaps familys or the elderly. I am in my 30s and like atmosphere when i go out to eat.

The Globe Inn
Part of the Table Table chain, its popular in the week days with its two mains for £10 and reguarly runs offers. Attracts early diners mainly the older generation with normal pub grub. Staff friendly at the bar and service good. The main negative is not much atomsphere but good for family meal out.

A pleasant setting
The Globe, although very nice, is never my first choice due to the fact that the clientelle does not really fall in to my age range (mid 30's), it attracts a lot of the older agegroups. However, for a family meal out once in a while this is always a safe bet. The environment is very pleasant since its refubishment and the food is very nice, not memorable but certainly adequate.
