The Wessex Autistic Society is delighted to have received £1,500 from Poole based company TDSi who chose the Society as its ‘Charity for the Year’ 2009.
Supporting the charity throughout the year, TDSi staff took part in sponsored swims, attended TWAS events, raised sponsorship money and entered teams in the charity’s corporate quiz nights. The company also participated in the Society’s annual Give Cash not Cards campaign, choosing not to send corporate Christmas cards.
John Davies Managing Director of TDSi comments, “We are really pleased to have been able to donate a significant sum of money to such a worthwhile local charity. The Wessex Autistic Society does such important work across the Wessex region and with the recession threatening to hit charities so hard this year, we felt it was important to do our bit.”
TDSi design, manufacture and sell extremely cost effective advanced access control systems with optimum flexibility in system design and maximum flexibility in integrated system capability. Since 1982, TDSi has been at the forefront of the access control industry, delivering innovation, reliability, global capability and some significant firsts to the market. TDSi's philosophy has always been to make the job of both employer and employee easier, whilst providing complete 'environmental' control for businesses.
Debbie Anderson, Fundraising and Marketing Manager comments, “We are thrilled with our corporate relationship with TDSi and their generous contribution to us. We have wonderful supporters who have raised money for us in many ways throughout 2009. We are all looking forward to making sure 2010 is a prosperous new year for the charity raising vital funds to continue offering charitable services throughout the Wessex region to help people with autism and their families.”
The Wessex Autistic Society has a jam packed events calendar for 2010, full of activities which can be supported by corporates or individuals alike, helping to raise vital funds for the charity throughout 2010.
