See Your Street in Google Street View !

Love it or hate it, today is the day when Google Street View goes nationwide.

I personally think it is a very good application, I'm an avid Googler and google mapper as I haven't made that transition yet to fully relying on sat nav to get me to my destination. Even then when Sat nav does "reach your destination" it's sometimes tricky to pinpoint exeactly where you need to be. Therefore, how handy simply to type into google maps where you want to be and then pinpoint on Street View the exact building and its doorway, before you even leave your home!
I personally love this kind of technology but what do you think ? Even though Google has automatic car number plate and face blurring plus you can ask for your property removing if you dont want it on the site, how do you feel - do you consider it an infringement of your rights having had the Google Car drive around and take photos indiscriminently.
