Royal British Legion new Standard

Sunday 12th July saw the unveiling of the new Royal British Legion Standard.
Led by the Christchurch Royal British Legion Band, the parade made its way from the RBL in Bargates, in glorious sunshine, down the High Street and into the Priory Church for the unveiling of the Standard and its dedication.
The Last Post and Reveille was sounded in the Priory Church by a lone bugler from the Royal British Legion Band, Mr Blake Harmer.
The sunshine brought the crowds out for the parade back from the Priory to the RBL and the band played a rousing rendition of Blaze Away though the High Street.
