Legion Band Heads Christchurch Carnival

Christchurch Royal British Legion Band had the honour of leading the Christchurch Carnival on Saturday.

Although rain clouds loomed at the beginning of the Carnival they stayed away and the sun came out to shine on the hundreds of onlookers who lined the streets from Stanpit Marsh to Christchurch Quay. The High Street was the busiest it has been for a few years on Carnival day, which was very welcome after the torrential rain last year.
