I have just been reading on the dorset website that 2 Rivers Meet Leisure Centre there are some brand new 7 a side football pitches availble . . .

So can someone please tell me why there is no active ladies football league in the area?

I know we don't have a big well organised Powerleague in the area, but we DO have facilities at X Church and at Littledown.

Does ANYONE know of a ladies 5,6 or 7 a side team or league.

Please help!  I want to get fit and have some fun!  Since listing an "appeal" on Gumtree Bournemouth I already have two other people interested, so surely there is the demand for such a thing?

2 Rivers Meet used to have a Ladies 5-A-Side indoor league until about 4 years ago, when basically a few teams pulled out and the lady organising it left.

I have asked if there will be a Ladies league on the new pitches - and have been told they would consider it if enough interest was expressed.

Currently some of the Mudefrod Phoenix team play 5-aside over at the David English Centre
    in an organised league.
We also play 11-a-side Hampshire Division 2.

If you want to join us, we train each Tuesday 6:30pm  at East Christchurch Sports & Social Club, Grange Road. BH23 4JE. Newbies welcome, training cost £2.00 - Level 3 coach
