Free parking

There will be free parking in all Christchurch and Highcliffe town centre car parks from 10am from Friday 18 December to Thursday 24 December.

Refuse and recycling

There will be no refuse collection on 25 December 2009. Extra will be taken on 1 January 2010.

There will be no recycling collections on 25 or 28 December 2009 or 1 January 2010. Extra recycling will be taken on 8, 11 and 15 January 2010.

Garden waste

There will be no garden waste collections on 24, 25 & 28 December 2009 or 1 January 2010. Extra garden waste will be taken on 31 December 2009 and 4 and 8 January 2010.

Christmas trees

Throughout January real Christmas trees will be collected free of charge as part of the garden waste service. They can be placed out at the kerbside on the garden waste collection day.

Civic Offices

Christchurch Council’s Civic Offices will close at 12 noon on Thursday 24 December with the cash office closing at 11.30am. The offices reopen at 8.45am on Tuesday 29 December.

The Civic Offices will close at 4pm on Thursday 31 December and reopen on Monday 4 January at 8.45am.

Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre

The Leisure Centre will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
