Did you know that the Christchurch Branch of the Royal British Legion, have a thriving marching band with an age range of 17 to 70 ?

An informal concert
Their Musical Director said "it's so lovely to see young people involved in the band, we really do have all ages and all abilities. Infact one of our members is re-learning the bugle after a 40 year break !"
The band are in their recruiting season and are looking for additional players. If you currently play, or have played a brass or woodwind instrument in the past and are interested in coming along for a taster session then now is the time to contact them.
The Royal British Legion Band is an active marching band and are based on the sound and style of the Band and Bugles of the Light Division. However, the band undertake a wide range of music to accommodate all tastes from carnival parades, official engagements/functions, Remembrance parade and various concerts.
