What a great idea! The kids love it! Funky little car seating, a choice of DVDs and staff who actually know how to handle fidgety children. It costs a little more than the place I used to take them, but then it removes all the normal stress of trying to get them to sit still for longer than five minutes, so to my mind it’s well worth it!

Very Disappointing
I was the 1st to arrive to the salon, it was my child's 1st haircut. Drove an hour to go, as thought the childrens set-up would be ideal for us and keep her entertained whilst getting the cut. She was not allowd to use the car chair, key selling point of the salon, because the height adjustment wasn't working and it wasn't easy for stylist to use. Not to mention it was filthy! We were also not offered the use of the DVD which I had hoped would distract her. (however the child after us was offered a choice of dvd - so it was working and I feel should've been offered to us). We were asked to put her in my lap, which then the stylist quickly sprayed her hair and started cutting. During all of this, my daughter is hysterically crying. I almost felt like they wanted to get us out as quick as possible, which is odd as there was only one other child that had come in during this. So our bad experience here left us with a very bad hair cut, upset child and £8.50 out of pocket. I also kept getting asked if I liked the cut numerous times, almost like she knew it was bad and needed re-assurance I was pleased. I only replied it was fine as I just wanted to get out of there to calm down my daughter. I would never go back. Bit sad that her first haircut was not very enjoyabe. I could've done a better job myself, I just thought she would enjoy the experience...might have been had it been the experience the salon 'sells!'.

A fun place
What a novelty this place is, i had never seen anything like it before. Its like a childrens playground in a hair salon. My little one hated having his hair cut until we found this place! Now he asks to go to the hairdressers. Worth the extra few pounds it costs compared to other barber shops.

His & Kids Hairdressers
Down from the main high street opposite the Kings Arms. This is a fun place to take kids to have their hair cut with Dad. Great car seats for them to sit in and TV to watch with selection of DVD's to keep them still while being cut. Magazines and newspapers for adults too!

His and kids - A very cool hairdressing salon, great for dads wanting to have a fun trip out with their children to have their hair cut. The salon has fun tv and dvd players for the children to watch whilst having their hair cut. The salon is very colourful with great car designed chairs for the little ones to sit on.
