Local Legion Band in CORFEST celebrations

The Royal British Legion Band, Christchurch have been aske to play at Corfe Castle this weekend in CORFEST.

CorFest is Corfe Castle's annual festival of fun from the heart of the

Isle of Purbeck. Last

year they raised £1200 for local good causes and now that CorFest

has expanded

to cover 10 days they hope to raise even more. CorFest

is now in it's third year and 2010 promises to be bigger and

better than

ever!

The band are taking part in the parade, which departs from the village hall on Saturday 12th June at 3pm. They will then play again in the arena at 3.30pm.

Corfe Royal British Legion are also in for a surprise as the band also plans to decend upon them for "a few pints" afterwards and a short performance in their garden.
