Royal wedding cake and tea is tops for Highcliffe Royal British Legion

This morning Highcliffe Royal British Legion members and local residents were treated to a special coffee morning with Royal Wedding Cake.

The cakes were made specially for the coffee morning by Lucy Eden and they certainly went down a treat.

Raffle tickets were sold too for a multitude of prizes and the community spirit inside the Highcliffe Methodist Hall was lovely.

The Highcliffe Royal British Legion is also organising a Fun Day on 4th June on the Rec. Ground with lots of events and displays, including the Royal Marine Volunteer Cadet Band.

A full article on what we can expect from the day will be published soon, but it certainly will be a day not to be missed. Lucy Eden, event co-ordinater has been working on the project for months, as it is the Royal British Legions 90th year, she wanted something special to be held in highcliffe for all the community to enjoy.
