Get Fit Christchurch !
Fit Christchurch Fun Day, which is free of charge, aims to increase awareness of the Fit Christchurch project being led by Christchurch Borough Council and Christchurch Community Partnership.
The Fun Day will feature a whole host of activities for people of all ages to take part in – everything from an impressive 255 foot inflatable assault course to sumo wrestling suits. There will also be a chance to break a world record for covering 100 metres on a spacehopper.
Pete Griffiths from Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre, who is organising the event, said: “Our first Fun Day last September was an incredible success with thousands of people coming down to take part in the many activities which we had laid on. This year promises to be even better.
“All members of Fit Christchurch and anyone signing up, free of charge, on the day will be able to have an entry in a draw to win some great prizes including tickets to activities and attractions, vouchers for shops and restaurants and many other goodies.”
Members of Fit Christchurch get a directory which includes a whole host of offers and discounts from businesses in Christchurch who have signed up to the Fit Christchurch loyalty scheme.

100 meters on a spacehopper...sounds like a plan to me. I might even have a go at the sumo. What a fab idea.
