What would you recommend to a tourist ?

If you had friends coming to Christchurch, as tourists, that

had never been to the area before, where would you recommend ?

We know there are beautiful beaches around and about but

have you got any little gems you have found that you would be willing to pass

on. ?

What as a tourist would you like to see in the Christchurch

area, do you think it is well catered for singles, couples and families alike,

or do you feel that there isn’t enough here to hold tourists ?

Do you think that public transport is adequate to explore

the area, or do you think it an absolute must to have your own transport ?

Are the car parks adequate, also do you think the Council

charges  too much to park in them ?

There are plenty of events during the summer, i.e.

Christchurch Carnival, Stompin on the Quomps, Christchurch Festival etc. But do

you think these are enough ? What would you do if you were in charge of tourism

for Christchurch ?
