NEARLY

800 years of loyal service was recognised when Bournemouth & West

Hampshire Water (BWHW) honoured some of its longest-serving staff.

The

32 employees received awards at the company’s headquarters after

clocking up more than 785 years’ combined service between them.

A total of 13 staff had been with BWHW for 35 years or more while others had served ten, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years.

Roger Harrington, Managing Director, said he was very proud of the loyalty shown by such a large number of employees.

He added: “BWHW provides an essential service to the public which requires long term planning, consistency and high standards.

“We

really value the knowledge, experience and loyalty of these members of

staff who, in some cases, have dedicated their whole working life to the

provision of a service which none of us can do without.”
