Experienced a bad charity (Oxfam) doorsales man last night.Very pushy, almost bringing me to tears.Going on about the poor kids in Pakistan wanted me to give money via direct debit.Decided I wouldn't let anyone upset me on my doorstep,so shut the door in his face.Be warned all those in local area of Christchurch, especially the old and venerable. Helen x ps I do support charities ,but not this way

Indeed, very bad. I'm against any door to door callers anyway. If I'm in my home I don't want you knocking on my door. If I want to give to charity, change my electric supplier or buy double glazing I'll come looking for you.
Also last week someone from Scottish Power conned their way into my father-in-law's house claiming they were there to read the meter, only to try and put pressure on him to sign up to them. It should be against the law.

ReportThat's awful ! I dont blame you closing the door. It's emotional blackmail.
