Recently christchurchpeople.co.uk ran a snow photo competition and asked readers to submit their snow photos to our gallery.

Snow Photo Competition Winner
We had some lovely photos and the decision was a tough one. We are pleased to announce L. Wilcox from Highcliffe won the festive prize and it was hand delivered to her this evening at her home. The prize was a 17" tall Christmas Doll, with porcelain face and hands, dressed in a luxurious faux fir trimmed hat and coat.
She said "Thankyou so very much for my Festive Prize. I think she is Beautiful and we have named her Holly (after my daughter). Thankyou VERY much for crowning me winner!!"
The photo named "Highcliffe Beach Clifftop" as it has a hand painted feel about it. The colours of clothing striking against the white snow and a glimpse of the sea in the background with seagulls overhead gave the photo a unique quality.

ReportThis was my favourite. I think what did it for me was the fabulous colour of the sky. You can almost feel the gull circling overhead. Very atmospheric.
