Theft of black micro scooter

Agreed but dont be fooled, like I was, into thinking everyone is honest.  Bought quite an expensive scooter (micro - £84 - but prob price of petrol for 2 weeks) for my son as I dont drive and the scooter 'surfs' the pavements and its  not so much effort for a 4 year old.  But it was stolen outside my front door last week.  Worst still I dont lock my front door when I am in as it doesnt have an automatic lock - how did the thief know if I was in or out?  So if anyone has seen a black micro scooter please hand it into the police.
