Not sure how many people are aware of this but the local council are attempting to introduce extra by-laws to force dog owners to leash their dogs in various locations. In one particular, contentious location (Druitt Gardens) the notifications posted disappeared after 1-2 days without many walkers seeing them. A survey form is buried on the council website ; http://tinyurl.com/8y5bmbc
If you have any concern over this latest step towards exclusion, make your feelings known before June 1st!

    What is this constant attack on dogs ... they bring enormous pleasure to many people, walking a dog on a lead is hardly any exercise ... responsible owners should be encouraged. I think the Druitt Gardens remake is some councillor's vanity project, it must have cost a fortune when there's NO money about ...
