Oh my !! I can't believe it, he was so cool. No matter what people said, all the bad press and everything he received - he still came through it all because the majority of people believed he was being manipulated and vulnerable.
MJ still has a family that should be considered and treated with repect. I have had so many text messages today, just full of jokes about his death - He is someones son, someones dad and brother. People just dont seem to have respect any more for death - is it that we are so desensitised from it ?

ReportI see your point xchurch_girl, the jokes are in pretty poor taste, and I'm the first to admit that musically Jacko was a legend in the true sense of the word. That said, I don't think you are in the position to judge the "bad press" as you put it. There were some incredibly serious allegations levelled against MJ, and for you to dismiss them as pure 'manipulation' is equally offensive to his alleged victims as the jokes you complain about are to MJ's family. I'm not claiming they are definitely true, but I don't think we should play them down either.
Don't you just love the way the media are bursting with tributes for MJ now, when they were the ones stirring up the hornets nest at every opportunity. No smoke without fire though......One thing is for sure - that man could produce a good song - Man in the Mirror - priceless!
