Generally good service badly marred by abuse when complaining

I have had excellent fish and chips from them for about a year. However recently the tone was badly marred. I mentioned to the lady serving behind the counter that the chips seemed tough on 2 occasions (a view supported by the 2 members of my household), as if they had been reheated, They had an unusually soft centre but unusually tough crispy surround. I was worried about breaking a tooth on them. All i got back was a dismissive embarrassed response and the second time the son came out of the shop after me yelling at me with an immature response telling me to "Grow up". It's no wonder that not many people dare complain in this country if they get abuse and intimidation back. I wont be going there again.
