The castle has been transformed following all its recent renovation work but we also like the way the bits still under renovation are displayed to the public so that you can see what and how they are going to do it. The grounds are truly lovely too. Hard to imagine the original castle is situated a mile or two out to sea. Ohh and a great cafe too with a really scrumptuous selection of cakes....

A stunning woodland setting, with views over the Needles through a cleverly designed cutting in the trees. There are all kinds of events held at the Castle, including an Easter Trail, music events, motor events and so on. It is also a fabulous venue for a civil wedding ceremony. My sister's wedding was here and it was fabulous.
You cant visit Highcliffe and not come to the castle. Truly beautiful with many events going on throughout the year. The music festivals held here in the summer draw the crowds in and the atmosphere is amazing. There's a nice area for kids to play out the front and its a lovely walk down to Highcliffe beach.
This romantic grade one listed building has continous restoration work doing it up since the 1990's. Set in grounds overlooking the Needles, beautiful setting. The castle hosts numerous events including weddings, exhibitions and bands. Lovely cafe to have an afternoon tea and gift shop. Kids love playing on the lawn and short walk to the beach.
Lovely setting and is used for lots of different activities.
We go there on our way to the beach and stop of to have a cup of coffee in teh cafe whilst teh kids play on the lawns and in the small maze.
Have attended weddings there, but although a little rushed on busy days, the facilities and views are fab.
My kids have gone to some of there school holiday activities which they enjoyed and the oudoor bands are a must.
