Police release CCTV image of Highcliffe Robbery Witness

Detectives investigating the armed robbery that took place at the Lymington Road Post Office have released a CCTV image of a man they'd like to speak to.

The CCTV image shows a man who entered the Post Office shortly after the robbery took place, it is thought he may have seen the offender.
Detective Constable Kate Dennis, of Bournemouth CID, said: "This was an extremely distressing incident and the victims were understandably shocked as a result of this man's actions.
"The pictured man is a possible witness. It's believed he indicated to the victim that the offender had run off onto the main road.
"I am very keen to speak with this man as he may have valuable information that can assist us in our investigation.
"I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious vehicles or anyone acting suspiciously in the area prior to 9.30am."
The robbery took place on the 18th December at around 9.30am. A man entered the Post Office with what is believed to be a firearm, demanded money and left with a quantity of cash. No one was hurt in the incident.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 18:102.
