Police appeal for witnesses after bicycle accident

Christchurch Police have appealed for witnesses or information after a cyclist was injured in the town.
On Tuesday 2nd October 2012 a 16-year-old boy was cycling along Fairmile road near the junction with Mill Road when he came off his bike. The reason for his accident is unknown.
He was taken to Poole hospital with head, shoulder and leg injuries but was later released.
Police Constable David Lawrence, of Dorset Police Traffic Unit, said: "A passing motorist stopped at the scene to help and took the bicycle to the boy's home address and informed his parents.
"I would like to speak with the motorist who helped and urge him to contact police.
"I am also appealing for anyone who has witnessed the incident to call Dorset Police as soon as possible."
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 3:170.
