Kellys Kitchen to stay in Christchurch

Kellys Kitchen will be staying in Christchurch, albeit in different premises but it's a triumph for them. What a shame it would have been if this established Christchurch business had been forced to close.

Planning for their relocation into the current Jarvis Radio premises had previously been refused by planning officers, but a U-Turn in their decision will now allow the relocation to go ahead.

Kellys Kitchen would have been missed by many local people who regularly visited the busy cafe. Hoorah for Kellys Kitchen and its supporters who have voiced their opinion and stuck it out to the last to fight in what they believe in.

This shows local councils should (and sometimes do) listen to what the community say if they shout long and hard enough.
