Christchurch & East Dorset Council meetings to be Webcast

Two upcoming council meetings are set to be broadcast over the internet for the first time.

The East Dorset District Council (EDDC) meeting, and the Christchurch Borough Council (CBC) meeting will both cover the setting of council tax and the approval of the Christchurch and East Dorset Core Strategy document.

These two issues are expected to draw great local interest and as attendance at the meetings is limited, the decision to webcast has been taken.

The meetings will see the final approval of the Core Strategy document before it is submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for Examination in Public.

Anyone wishing to address the meeting at East Dorset or raise a question at Christchurch is advised to contact the Democratic Services team on 01202 886201 extension 2403 as soon as possible.

The EDDC meeting will be held on Monday 25th Feb at 6.30pm with the CBC meeting held the day after at 6pm.
