Christchurch probably saw one of its largest parades on Sunday with over 300 Air Training Corps and their staff march through it's streets for a special service in the Priory, Commemorating 71 years of the ATC.

ATC Sunday - one of the biggest parades for Christchurch.
The Christchurch Band of the Royal British Legion were proud to have been asked to lead the parade by the Commanding Officer of the Christchurch ATC, Ian Gant.
The band currently have two members of the ATC with them, Cpl. Durrant (side drum) and Flt. Sgt. Emmett (Bass and Cornet). As a band we are very proud to be able to encourage youngsters in music and these two young men have shown dedication and commitment and it is a pleasure to have them as members.
Because Sunday was an ATC event, Cpl. Durrant and Flt. Sgt. Emmett wore their ATC uniform. For Flt. Sgt. Emmett it was a particularly poignant parade as he turns 20 in May and therefore it was the last parade for him wearing the ATC uniform as a cadet.
