Bitton lifted by super Barnes

Brandon Barnes scored one goal and set up the other two as Bitton beat Christchurch 3-0 in round three of the FA Vase.

Barnes pounced on a horrible mix-up in the Christchurch defence to put the home side in front after just five minutes.

The second goal arrived on the hour when Barnes' left-wing cross found Mark Salter and the prolific front man converted his chance.

Substitute Rob Smart added the third goal with Barnes again the provider.

Larkhall must entertain Ilfracombe in a replay after extra-time failed to separate the sides on the north Devon coast. It finished 1-1.
